PLEASE TAKE NOTE !!!!

Alton town council meet on 23rd September 2010 to consider the new plan.

Please write or email the Alton Town Councilors and the Town Council as a whole to express your views about the new plan.

Contact details for this are on the ARG website: http://ansteyresidents.org.uk/councillors.php

Tips on what to object to:

To object we should concentrate in the loss of amenity.

By this we mean the loss to individuals and the community:

loss of open space,
loss of informal leisure space,
loss of somewhere free to all, and not restricted to organised sport and exclusive to club members.

Use your own words and try and personalise with your own observations and descriptions of use.

Send objections to: The Town Clerk, Town Hall, Market Square, ALTON GU34 1HD and include your name and address.

Emails can be sent to: townclerk@alton.gov.uk, provided the objection identifies your name and address, to avoid duplication. It would help if you also state the nature of your objection.

Please use these downloadable and printable poster and leaflets to spread the word:

Tell as many people as you can what is going on and distribute leaflets if you can.

If you do distribute leaflets to entire roads please email ansteypark@gmail.com to tell us what you have covered (so we don't duplicate the effort).
